Sabrina Che
Sabrina Che was born and raised in Los Angeles, and she is a graduate of Art Center College of Design.
Che’s practice questions consciousness and divinity, circling ideas of being in both anchored and impermanent ways. Her work layers meaning through materials and moments woven together. Her most recent body of work includes stone altars, layered shrouds stitched together, and photo- graphs with embroidered edges. Each piece is an interpretation and reflec- tion, offering a meditative viewing moment. Che’s current work rests at the intersection of photography, textile, and sculpture, carving paths of connections through a myriad of views.
